Only utilities participating in the EmPOWER Maryland program have been approved to take part in the CEA Loan program. Homeowners whose utility company is not listed are not eligible to participate in the program.

Only contractors registered with your utility company’s HPwES and/or HVAC rebate programs can participate in the loan program.

In order to partake in the loan program, the project must qualify for a rebate. All rebate reservation numbers are verified by program administrators.

Yes, consumers not eligible for the CEA Loan could be eligible for the DHCD BeSMART Program. For more information, please visit the DHCD BeSMART website.
