The CEA Loan Program is currently paused and not accepting new applications. We are awaiting Maryland Public Service Commission approval for the CEA Loan pilot program to be extended into the 2026 calendar year with additional funding.

If the PSC approves the pilot program extension for an additional year, all participating installers will be notified. At that time, we will re-open the CEA Loan portal for new applications once program funds have been re-evaluated.

The Clean Energy Advantage (CEA) Loan Pilot Program offers Maryland residents a convenient and affordable financing option for residential energy improvements. This includes projects such as home energy efficient heating and air conditioning systems, water heating systems, windows and doors, whole home insulation, and weatherproofing – regardless of income level.

Reduce your energy bill and improve the comfort of your home with this low-cost loan financing option, offering 0% financing for 24 months, and reduced interest rates. The loans are designed to be combined with existing utility rebates.

The CEA Loan Pilot Program is administered, in partnership, by the Maryland Clean Energy Center and the Montgomery County Green Bank and authorized by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) to fund the program.
